Partnership between Network – UNESCO

The Greek National Commission for UNESCO and Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Thursday, June 21, 2018, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Giannis Amanatidis.

 

Mr. Nikolaos Pentzos, President of Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance, stated, among other things, that: “Today’s signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Network and the Greek National Commission for UNESCO, is a practical recognition of Network’s contribution to social events. Of Greece “. The memorandum underlined Mr. Pentzos, creates a framework of cooperation between the two bodies for the implementation of joint actions, which will contribute to the development of a culture of volunteerism, the promotion of cultural, physical and intangible heritage and, in general, the mobilization of companies. and citizens in solidarity actions.

 

In this context, Network will participate as a sponsor in the camp program organized by the Greek National Commission for UNESCO, at the premises of XANTH in Halkidiki, to promote intercultural dialogue and encourage young people on issues of solidarity and diversity. Finally, Mr. Pentzos reminded me that the mission of Network is to connect the business community with organizations that offer social work, especially to children and young people.
